Amazing spelling game with letters for any age

This game is excellent for any age to improve listening and spelling. There are a sheet of letters which need to be copied and laminated each student will receive about 55 letters and work in a group or with another person. The teacher calls out the word and the students have to spell the word using the letters on their desk then call out if they are first t finish. It is so competitive and mostly used in English/EAL and ESL but can be used even as a warmer to review key words in any subject. There are some recommended words form easy to hard but of course the list is endless. All students enjoy this because it is hands on and interactive.

This a power point with a full step by step lesson for the teacher. It includes instructions and activities for the students. It is extremely interactive and done under the context of spy fiction. Everything is straightforward and easy to follow. God for reviewing adverbs and simple sentence development. Students enjoy the movement and hand-on element.

It is straight forward and good for grade 4 -6 as well as EAL refresher for KS3/4 students. Starts with a brainstorm warmer wich students love, instructions written easily for students and for teacher to follow.

Reward Chart + Oscars to laminate for class motivation and rewards! Awesome tool for English/Drama

For any English activity or drama activity, for example after debates, presentations, group work, and poster activities I award my learners with an Oscar. I use three categories each month and one group Oscar prize, one individual prize and another individual prize(for progress). So every student has a chance to win an award each month. The students get so excited at the Oscar concept, as it is something they know and can relate to. Instructions Photocopy the Oscars and laminate them, you can use the chart across the whole year if you just edit the dates on the document, the one here starts from Sept to Dec, simply enlarge the chart or decrease the Oscars so they fit in the chart. At the end of the month the learners of the categories will get a prize. A movie, sweets or whatever your school policy is usually motivates the students. Hang it on your classroom wall, it will get the students excited! Something visual that is always there is a great motivating tool.

Students act as teachers and identify the mistakes throughout the health blog, this reinforces their ability to recognize errors and correct in pairs. At the end they can make a video in groups based on the text. A great interactive activity!
